Census Oddities
The censuses, taken every ten years since 1841 (though that one is officially "missing" for Walton and Weybridge district) is a primary source of information for both local and family historians. While it is often thought to be infallible, that is not always the case and it has its share of errors, discrepancies and, often unconscious, humour.
