Cleeves School
Cleeves School in Oatlands Avenue was built in on the site of the old allotments that had been in existence since, probably, early in the 20th Century. It is possible, but not confirmed, that they may have formed the vegetable garden of the “Keeper’s House” that was situated nearby during the years when the Oatlands Estate was, basically, a fence-enclosed area with everything that the estate and its workers needed being self-contained wherever possible.
